First graders need a lot of structure and lack organization skills. I would like my students to be able to organize materials and school supplies using the seat sacks. There is often a lot of time spent on finding materials and supplies. The seat sacks will allow them to store supplies for easy access and allow them to be in charge of their belongings. Through using seat sacks first graders can develop organization skills and flexible seating will help get their wiggles out while learning. First graders have a lot of energy and need to move around. The wobble chairs will help them get energy out and stay focused on academic work. This project will teach my students organization skills and maximize learning in the classroom. It will teach efficiency and increase student engagement.
