We are at the beginning of a new time in teaching. With our school and so many others returning from an extended absence, there are certainly going to be increased anxiety and stressors for our students and our staff. I have taken advantage of our extended time away and enrolled in a certification program through a college in Indianapolis focusing on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). SEL should be at the front and center of every child's education. Weather my kiddo's are snuggling up in a soft comfy chair, beanbag, or under the protection of a weighted blanket, these materials will help support my efforts in creating a better, safer, calmer, and more supportive learning environment for our students.

About my class
