The addition of Edison Robots to our coding classroom opens a world of learning. Writing code that tells the robot to perform tasks incorporates skills from a variety of disciplines including math, language, and science. Working together to solve problems helps students develop teamwork and communication skills that are essential to success. Coding is not only a useful skill for future employment, but also a valuable tool for learning essential skills. Edison Robots give students a chance to see their code come alive in the real world, getting them out of their seats to bring their learning alive. These robots will continue to be useful as students develop coding skills through block coding, learning more advanced code in scratch and then python.
