Our classroom library is many of our students' first exposure to books. Therefore it is vital for us to create an inviting and diverse library area.We chose a variety of books for all the students to experience different stories, thoughts and ideas. The library area allows the students to create a love for reading. Notably, at a pre-K level, children will explore pictures, learn new vocabulary words and follow words along as they turn the pages of the book. Children will pick up the same book multiple times, excited to look over the pictures again and again. The best way to continue the students' love for reading is by introducing more books into our library.
