We explore our emotions in a safe and non-threatening way by using a variety of tools. We talk about social and emotional strategies daily. The ultimate goal is for my students to have a variety of tools to help themselves stay calm and in control, and to transfer that over to the traditional classroom setting. I want them to be able to quickly return to their classroom and be involved in their learning environment with their peers, all while being able to stay in control of their actions and choices.
