In this new era of social distancing and non shared materials, students will have a safe and easily accessible place to keep learning materials and hands-on manipulative tools. Needed items like math counters and tools, scissors, and glue can all be kept at the students seat, since kinder students have tables and note individual desks, student supplies will be kept at student seats, limiting movement around the room and limiting germ exposure. My goal is to keep kids safe, but still allow children access to learn with the hands-on tools, that I know make a difference. Young students need concrete ways understand abstract concepts.
