As a teacher, it is my responsibility to facilitate learning which requires versatility in presentation of material to be learned. Stimulating students' interest is very important, and the use of laptops enhances the learning experience. Students have such unique differences in their learning needs. Each student presents specific backgrounds, achievement levels, personal preferences, and learning gaps. Laptops offer limitless opportunities to individualize student learning. I am requesting two laptops to keep them engaged in relevant learning activities that motivate them to reach their full academic potential. Students are never too young to improve academically through the use of technology. Our school offers many platforms for online learning, but we need the technology to put them in action. My students need these computers to access online libraries, research various topics, express themselves through writing, create projects digitally, collaborate with their teacher and peers, enjoy educational games, help remediate struggling learners, and offer enrichment for advanced students. With these computers at their fingertips, no matter what level a student is on, he/she can strive for a better future.
