These frog dissection kits will be an excellent addition to our unit on comparative anatomy in evolution. It is a difficult thing to visualize, so being able to actually see some anatomy and draw comparisons to our own anatomy, even from an animal that is so distant from humans, will really help the students grasp how evolution works and the idea of common ancestors. This is also an experiment that I got to do when I was in 8th grade and is one of the things that made me fall in love with science! I want to impart that same passion on my students.
