There are many different apps that offer math enrichment activities. The simplicity of some of these apps require little instruction. The students are quick to start experimenting which makes them in control of their learning and gives me more time to work with the ones who are at-risk. The students who have higher-level thinking skills will be able to work at a greater speed and need opportunities to enhance the learning experience. My middle school students are very creative. They love the chance to use math skills to build, calculate, configure, and problem solve.
