These novel sets will give students the opportunity to dive into modern texts that will not only prepare them for the AP English Literature and Composition exam, but will also give them the opportunity to read texts similar to what they will be exposed to at the college level. My students will use these books both in class and at home, as students will explore these texts independently and then conduct deeper analysis together during class time. With these novel sets, students will broaden their exposure to modern texts and allow them to examine texts written by authors from diverse backgrounds. My AP Literature students love to discuss and analyze novels, and these sets will surely spure some energetic discussions among students. These new additions will provide rigorous, high interest texts to students invested in broadening their knowledge base.
