Each year twenty books are selected to be on the Lone Star List. This list features a variety of topics to peak student’s interest. As students return to school I want to offer them a variety of books and challenge them to step out of their comfort zone and read. I want to encourage my students' love of reading or grow a new found appreciation for literature. Students will be able to explore these novels in class and be able to check out resources. Once students read the books they can give their own review and recommendations for their peers to read next.

About my class
