I chose the Q Ball to be the main focus of my project. My plan is to incorporate fun into public speaking. I plan on my students wanting to participate because they want to catch the ball and hear their voices project through the speaker. The presentation pointer will help them highlight areas of importance on our white board to emphasize their point. The doorbell serves the purpose of letting students know when their time is up in a friendly manner. The white lights are for emphasizing a special area for my students to go to when they are presenting. I want them to feel special, as they present 'under the spotlight.' My goal is to encourage participation by making public speaking fun! These materials will be a great start to getting my students wanting to read orally, answer questions, sharing their writing projects, and presenting learned materials.
