Hello friends! I will be a first year teacher teaching the second grade and I am so excited to finally begin my teaching career, especially during a pandemic! While COVID may have stopped in-class learning in the spring, my goal is to help my students pick back up where they left off in their learning while maintaining normalcy. I cannot wait to meet my first group of students in the fall! I will use these resources daily, including during one on one instruction such as guided reading time, and during group activities for students to better understand certain concepts like place value or financial literacy. I am also incorporating alternative seating arrangements to help with the learning environment, classroom layout, and to ensure I can safely distance my students. My teaching style is very vibrant and energetic where I see my classroom as a stage for all of us to enjoy. I am reaching out for help because I am completely dedicated to this classroom and these students regardless of what's happening in the world. I want everyday to be an experience that they will never forget in a hands on learning environment that is welcoming for all.
