I am asking for sensory tools, such as fidget toys, motion bubblers, water beads, kinetic sand, Play-Doh, and squishy toys, to help create a perfect Calming Corner for my fourth graders. We are working on learning to express our emotions, big or small, in healthy ways as we work on our Social Emotional skills. This corner will give upset students a chance to catch their breath and regulate their emotions. The rug, bookshelf, and pillow will create a comfy and organized environment in which my students can use these tools until they are ready to communicate their feelings positively. Thank you for considering donating so that my students can feel safe and secure in our classroom!

About my class
