I am currently taking two different diversity classes towards my master's degree in literacy. I realize the extreme importance of modeling and sharing books with my students that come from different cultures and backgrounds. One of the favorite parts about distance learning was my read alouds. Students loved listening to me read books to them at home. They will be able to connect and relate to the people in these books as we work towards creating a classroom community of diverse learners. Thank you for helping us celebrate our dazzling differences in kindergarten!
