My students will use the laptop for reading and writing. They will be able to access apps and websites such as readworks.org using the laptop to improve their reading and comprehension skillS. Readworks.org has an inventory of articles at various grade levels where students can research information, and create powerpoint for class projects. The laptop will also help some of my students who need help with writing due to their disability. They will be able to use word document from the laptop to record their ideas/thoughts during writing activities. Students learning will be more interactive and collaborative. Also, this activity will help my student to better engage with the class and interact with their peers during group activities/research projects.
