Every classroom requires simple materials in order for a student to be successful. Pencils, erasers, and markers are what I call essential materials that we go through quickly in our classroom and use on a regular basis for our writing, reading and math blocks. These materials can also be sent home with students who may not have supplies at home. Extra masks on hand and a small snack will allow students to be comfortable and reward themselves after a day of learning. Students are successful and will continue to be successful with the correct materials.
