Technology is an integral component of first grade education. It is the highlight of the day for many students and an opportunity to demonstrate development of skills in an interactive, adaptive, and often game-like format. Amidst the recent pandemic, the importance of technology has been elevated. Many of our lessons have shifted into the online platform whether by curriculum add-ons or teacher- created resources. While our district is working toward a 1:1 initiative, each first grade class currently has 4 computers to share among 25-30 students. In an effort to have instruction delivered to every ear and maintain health guidelines, our team is requesting donations of headphones. We promise our thanks will come in loud and clear!
