The rug in this project will allow for my students to have a comfortable, safe place to learn during whole group lessons, morning meeting, fun specials (i.e. Movie Rewards), etc. This rug would also allow for better social distancing, as it would provide a designated place for each student to sit during lessons. My school has recently made the switch from carpet, to tile so this would also be a way to dampen some of the noise that comes from fun learning! We would love to have this addition to make our room cozy and feel like home!
