Our first grade classroom has some great books to read, but zero bookshelves to help store them. Our classroom library is currently being housed in four small cubbies, and it is hard for students to see what books are available for them to read. These bookshelves will allow my first grade students to browse all of the books in our classroom library with ease, and none of the frustration that they encounter now. These shelves will make the books we have in our classroom look like an actually library, instead of a stash of books.
