My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to read about superheroes and villains. My school media center doesn't have a large collection of books, so I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom. Reading aloud to a student will add a bit more excitement to any book. Make the story more fun by using different voices for each character and an expressive voice for dramatic parts. This then will capture the attention of a struggling reader.
