These materials will help the children be able to explore different textures and materials. It will help them be able to think out the box while using them. As children need to be in individual spaces, these materials will help them have a variety of activities to explore independently as well. With these materials the children will learn cause and effect and make predictions. We will present a small container with some materials in it and allow the children to explore and problem solve. Will different materials fit in the tubes or can a different material hold this piece up? These sensory materials also help children with stress, anxiety and creativity. All of which are feelings we are all feeling these days. Allowing the children to explore without guidelines or restrictions is something they will be looking for while in school this coming year.
