Last year was my first year teaching. I taught 4th grade math and science, so my classroom library was not great. I am now teaching 3rd grade (all subjects) and want to ensure I have the necessary supplies for an engaging literacy block! I'm so excited for this new adventure.
I love reading and I want my students to love it too. Book bins will help my students to choose books that they are interested in and have them in a designated space. With the social distancing guidelines still in place, it will be important for my students to have designated areas for their supplies. Next, I have chosen a mobile whiteboard. If we are in the classroom, this will be used as we create anchor charts for my students to refer to during lessons. However, this would be a great resource during distance learning lessons as I meet with students through video-conferences. Lastly, the rolling storage cart will store guided reading materials such as book sets, magnetic letters, dry-erase boards, and more.
