My students are eager to return to school but we need to make sure that they can do it safely. I need to make up a container of materials (including art supplies, fine motor, sensory and outdoor fun) for each student to use when they are engaged in small group learning. In the event that we return to distance learning, each student can bring his/her materials home to use while completing projects. My very young students are learning to be responsible for their own materials and help me keep the classroom in order. They will learn to locate their own container, use their own materials and then be responsible for keeping track of and cleaning up their school supplies. They are ready to practice being learners and helpers!
