The books selected for this project will specifically meet the needs of each individual student in my classroom. When students are given appropriate text, specific to their learning needs they are able to practice and can learn to read at a faster rate. These texts will provide me the opportunity to pair each child with a variety of texts specific to their independent reading level. Time spent reading, paired with a positive attitude towards books results in stronger reading achievement. I hope that the time they spend reading these wonderful books will result in a lifelong love for reading.
