Scholastic Action Magazine will be used to strengthen my students' reading comprehension, vocabulary development, writing, and overall confidence with their reading skills. Scholastic Action utilizes multiple means of engagement such as videos, text-to-speech, print and digital resources, and high-interest topics to hook students and keep them engaged while working on fundamental reading skills. Scholastic Action, a reading intervention magazine, will provide my students with additional fiction and nonfiction texts to strengthen their skills in close reading and writing. By using Scholastic Action, students will develop reading and writing skills essential for their future as productive citizens of the world.

About my class
