The Kindles purchased will allow me to utilize technology more often in my Learning Support Classroom. My classroom currently only has 2 Chromebooks to share between 15 students in one session. My sessions are usually only about 40 minutes long which is not a lot of time to share technology . Kindles that are purchased for this project will allow more students to use technology in my classroom. We will be able to complete progress monitoring, play more educational games, like Reflex Math to engage students in practicing basic math facts, also Readworks which engages students in phonics activities and reading comprehension . Students will also be able to take Accelerated Reader tests more frequently because there will be more devices in the classroom. Students will also be able to take DIBELS assessments to practice their reading fluency. Adding these Kindles to our classroom will enhance learning for all of the students.
