I have always wanted to be a teacher. Seriously, I must have played teacher everyday in the summer when I was a little girl. I was ALWAYS the teacher and my sister who was five years younger than me was always the student. When it came to time for me to read a book to my 'students' I checked out a book from the library that my sister and I had put together. Every book we owned, we made a library card for and stamped the book when we checked it out. My parents read to us every night and my love of picture books grew from there. I would like to continue to help my students grow in their love of reading!
