Research indicates that most "at-risk" students learn visually. They learn more easily when presented with visual magnetic Math resources such as magnetic coins, money, fraction bars, etc.. That is why I want to provide them with the tools they need to be successful. "Stuck on Math" will provide students with large interactive math manipulatives that can be used on the whiteboard or at their desks for individual or cooperative group learning. The magnetic materials are bright and engaging which will motivate not just the visual learners, but all students. The materials chosen will serve as a reinforcement for math objectives that are usually difficult for students to grasp. Math is one of the subjects that plays a very important role in our daily life. It is imperative that children acquire their math skills in order to be successful in today's world.
