Students are required to sit down at a desk for an exceptionally long time. The more they sit, the less interested they are in discussion. I would love to have the opportunity for my students to stand and not be subject to punishment. I have many students that are diagnosed with ADHD, standing desks can help these students release that excess energy while still remaining focused. These talented young minds need a chance to succeed. If granted these standing desk, you are allowing equal opportunity for every student to succeed in the classroom.
