My students are working on developing their fine motor skills and coordination to help complete activities of daily living, and academic tasks. During the Covid-19 crisis, it has been very challenging for my students to have access to materials that will help them develop or maintain the skills that they have been working so hard to learn prior to school closings. With these new materials, my students will have their own individual tool kit of items in order to continue building their fine motor strength and coordination, pre-writing and writing skills, be creative and complete crafts. Since Coronavirus will still be around when school starts in the Fall, each student's fine motor box will be for his/her own use at school or at home. It will help them become successful wherever their learning environment will be. It will also help me facilitate therapy sessions utilizing these must-have tools for their success.
