These books will be adding a rich library of books into my classroom to help provide my students with stories focusing on various cultures. These stories integrate cultural aspects into stories that focus on kindness and mindfulness. My students will be able to hear stories to help them gain a perspective on other children's lives. These books will provide me with valuable pieces of literature to use when helping to develop my students' vocabulary and comprehension skills. I will be using each book to teach comprehension strategies such as retelling, making predictions, and inferring.
