All of the materials will allow our students to be taught in the manner in which they most commonly learn. What is most common for them is through play, exploration, and touch. The more they can feel and explore and item while learning, the more concrete their learning will become. As we all know, Special Education does not mean that a child cannot learn, it only means they may need different supports in order to succeed. With these materials our students will be able to learn and explore math and other subjects through various different materials they can touch and manipulate with minimal support. They don't require the tons of modifications and altering that we generally have to do with general education materials. These materials will give them alternative ways along with the freedom and opportunity to be taught in a manner in which they can learn, rather than us teaching them in a manner where they can't
