My first classroom will be the definition of 21st century learning. I want students to walk in to my class and immediately feel motivated to do their best work each and everyday. Not only will the students feel encouraged to learn, they will feel invited, welcomed, and included. I want to incorporate flexible seating and a cozy library corner in my classroom. During stations, small groups, or simply as a reward; students will have the option to sit somewhere in the class other than their desks. I want them to have bean-bag chairs, wobble seats, floor cushions, and portable laptop trays to choose from. These materials will make my classroom more modern and technology-friendly. While working in small groups, I want to utilize dry erase boards and dry erase circles on the tables to help students visualize and illustrate key concepts. With your help and these materials, I can give my students the fulfilling and enriching education experience that they deserve.
