My students need headphones and computer mice. In my classroom we use Chromebooks for interactive, student-led learning and online instruction. The headphones are comfortable and enable learning without causing sensory challenges. Students can easily manipulate the mice causing less frustration in the classroom and making the computer easier to use. The population of students at Spectrum Academy learn best when their environment is optimal. This means that comfortable headphones and mice that do more than facilitate learning, they make the learning possible. Choosing headphones that are comfortable and fit over the ear make wearing this learning tool manageable for students with special needs to learn.
