Physical education at the elementary level helps students reduce stress, stay physically active, and form healthy living habits for the rest of their lives. It also teaches students teamwork, leadership skills, and builds self-confidence. My students enjoy going outside and participating in different activities each day. Because of limited equipment, students must take turns and share the things we do have which reduces the amount of practice they receive each day. Without the proper equipment, we are unable to learn some of my students' favorite sports. With your donation, my students will have the opportunity to learn new skills and participate in many activities while staying active and having fun. With the new equipment I am requesting, students will be able to work on soccer, basketball, and badminton skills. They will be able to participate in stations with exercise cards, hula hoops, and turn and jump sticks. I will have a wide variety of activities that I will be able to plan making our Enrichment time more engaging for everyone. My students will be so excited to see all the new equipment they will be able to use during our class.
