These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I want my library to be more diverse and STEAM focused. I moved from 5th to 3rd grade and I don't have many second/third grade leveled books. Overall, students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy reading during independent reading times! With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. I truly believe students should have choice in what they choose to read. I am hoping with a multitude of choices they will find something they will love!
