We are returning to "in-person" instruction. Our program will be "All-In.” However, our high numbers have required us to get creative and utilize the outdoors during our extremely cold winters. We are looking to get a covered area(enclosed shade/tent/carport) where we can provide a warm, enclosed space for instruction and to get out of the elements. In addition, we would like to provide activities to engage the students in fun, social and recreational activities. The requested items will provide a variety of social and interactive activities for the students. Snow shoes, for example, will allow our students to be active during the winter, provide a healthy social activity, and teach them about recreational activities they are capable of participating in. Our students have learning goals targeted around communication, socialization, recreational experiences, vocational skills, and learning healthy lifestyles. With these materials, our students will be able to engage in activities that will encompass many of their learning goals. It’s important to keep our students in school and safe. In order to do so, we will need to utilize the outdoors.
