During this period of distance learning my special ed students will benefit from having hands-on supplies at home to help compensate for missing their in person SPED appointments. While I still meet with them on Zoom meetings they have a difficult time engaging over the live video. I think if they had a white board, markers, flash cards, and counters they would engage more efficiently. I will also develop a "Learning Binder" with all types of reminders for reading strategies and math supports for them to have as a 'go to' source at home.
