These materials will support students in an after school learning opportunity. I want my students to become fully engaged in high quality literature with extension projects on a weekly basis for the entire school year. By exposing students to higher level activities, I hope to expand their vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills. I have planned cross-curricular experiences involving science, math and art lessons. This will increase, not only reading skills, but also reasoning skills. These items will help me create a space in which the students become immersed in the magical world of Harry Potter.
