Our school, like many others, are struggling in the post-Covid-19 world. Our classroom budgets have been cut 25%. We are getting $201 for the whole 2020-2021 school year to buy supplies. We are looking at not being able to share supplies, so we need to get enough for all students to have their own that can rotate with the students. This way we can stay safe by not sharing supplies. That means, 100 pencil boxes, 100+ sets of colored pencils, 100 scissors, etc. These amounts are obviously more than the usual supply sets we need to get for the year. Many of our students cannot afford to buy their own supplies, so the responsibility falls on the teachers to help support the students. We want this school year to be as great as we can make it, and really make up for time lost during the quarantine.
