The carpet and seats will be used to create an area in our classroom for student engagement in Mathematics. The "Exploration" area will be a comfortable and dedicated area for student group collaboration as they engage in mathematics and science projects. Students will benefit from a flexible seating area that doesn't confine them to traditional classroom seating. Students who are relaxed are able to focus and concentrate on their tasks and will excel in learning. We currently have flexible seating at their desks so this area will continue our goal of relaxed flex seating.
