These books will help to provide more diverse books in my classroom library for my students. I want to provide opportunity for discussion about race, diversity, kindness and inclusivity through literature. My hope this that a classroom library full of black and brown characters and books written by black and brown authors will help create a more inclusive library that is representative of the world we live in. I will use these books to teach my students about our diverse world and facilitate conversations so they can grow up to by inclusive adults who are not afraid to be themselves!
