Middle school students struggle to find books they are interested in or that speak to them. I would like to build my classroom library to have current and relevant books they will enjoy. I want to instill a love of reading into each student. Finding a book you want to read is the first step to developing a lifelong relationship to reading. I include time for students to read to themselves and want to have the right books for this. I want them to enjoy reading long after they leave my classroom.
