These flexible seating options will allow my students to learn in the best way possible. The students will choose their seating each week to see what type helps them focus. Not all children learn the same at a desk and chair. Some students will need to wiggle while they read or follow along. Other students will want to lightly bounce during the activity, while another student will want to use the wobbly pillow on their chair. Just like we differentiate instruction, I want to differentiate my seating with the flexible seating options. I know that most students would rather sit on the ground, safely bounce on the ball or wobble on the stool instead of sitting in a plain chair at a desk. These flexible seating options will help my students focus and be attentive to the activities.
