I am a new teacher to my middle school and I am so excited to bring a unique learning experience to my science classroom! I hope to engage students through hands-on, STEM experiences. I want to start the year off strong with all my students having the tools they need to be successful and organized for my class. My students are low income and in need of basic school supplies such as notebooks and composition books. My hope is to provide these materials to my students on the first day of class for them to feel ownership and empowerment to be successful in my class, regardless of the barriers they may feel outside of school. These materials will be used for lab books and note-taking throughout the year to support my students' organization and confidence in my science class.
