Having a book display will allow me to have many books available for children to read and look at. Currently, my books are in baskets and only the book in the front is displayed not all books. In a book display, they will select books more meaningfully. Learning to read and hearing stories for background knowledge and vocabulary is key to learning. My goal in first grade is to expose my students to many stories and to excite them about literature. Reading is the key to success in all learning.
