Working with students with autism is challenging and rewarding. I often need to teach a concept in multiple ways to make sure it "clicks" for all my students. Students often require one-on-one help for tasks which can be difficult when they typically outnumber me and my aides! These task boxes offer activities that allow students to interactively respond to the cues at hand independently or with some prompts. The organization of these boxes is creative and efficient. I have noticed that students LOVE to use these. I would like to see these used as an independent starter in the morning or as an "early finisher" reward during work time.
