Today's classrooms are made up of learners with diverse backgrounds, including my class! It is important that teachers, as educators, help students respect one another and make an effort to learn about each other's cultures. The stories of diversity teach valuable lessons of respect and understanding. This literature will help my students be kind and considerate to one another by making an effort to understand each other. I am convinced that access to books that reflect who they are will make my students more excited about reading. I would be grateful for your support!
