These books will enhance our curriculum by providing students with a relevant take on three historic events throughout history- World War Two, Castro's Cuba, and the Syrian refugee crisis all tied into one storyline. We strive to provide the most exciting, enriching reading experience possible to our students and this book is just what we need. Recently approved by the district, we do not have the funding to buy classroom copies for each school. This is why we need your help! Please help us buy two classroom sets of the amazing novel Refugee for our eighth graders to enjoy!
